NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Kiya Ward Shears
In 2016, after losing both of my parents unexpectedly, I retreated for 15 weeks to a gorgeous farm in Durham, NC. In this space of silence, I grieved, found my purpose, and reinvigorated my passion for life.
Now, I use what I've learned in retreating to help women pause from the hustle and bustle of life to retreat. Journey Retreats are all-inclusive, covering all meals, activities, and lodging. I retreat with small groups of 30 women or less and would love to have you on the next retreat.
"I came conflicted about my hopes and dreams. I left certain about the direction of my life."
- Spring '23 Retreat Participant
"I came out of my comfort zone. It was very peaceful, relaxing, and calming. Truly, it was a joy to be around everyone."
- Spring '23 Retreat Participant
"I don't do large groups of women so I was skeptical to be around 30 women at this retreat. However, everything was so organized and intentional. I met new sister-friends and reignited my passion for my life and career"
